Good morning! It’s going to be a busy week so let’s get started. Our first lunch special is a Mediterranean Turkey Stacker; sliced Bourbon Roasted Turkey breast on warm Naan bread with tomatoes, spinach, red onions, kalamata olives, and crumbled feta cheese, and served with a side of homemade Tsatziki sauce.
Our second lunch special is a Bruschetta Style BLT; crispy bacon, fresh tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella cheese on toasted Wheatberry bread with our own Balsamic Vinaigrette.
Aged Cheddar Pimento Cheese
1 lb block Aged White Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1 small jar of Pimentos
½ cup of your favorite mayonaise
salt and pepper to taste
Mix ingredients in a small bowl. Refrigerate, serve with your favorite The Sweetery Wine Sticks.
The Sweetery used this spread in a local “Farm to Fork” event when we first introduced our Apple Wine sticks and it was a HIT!
Orange Cream Cheese Spread
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/8 tsp ground ginger
1/3 cup orange marmalade
Mix ingredients until smooth, refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve with your favorite The Sweetery Wine Sticks.
2 Kiwis, peeled and diced
2 apples – peeled, cored and diced
8 oz blueberries
1 lb of strawberries, quartered
2 TBL granulated sugar
1 TBL brown sugar
3 TBL fruit preserves, any flavor
Thoroughly mix fruit with sugars and preserves. Refrigerate at least 15 minutes. Serve with The Sweetery’s Cinnamon Espresso Wine Sticks.

It’s Taste Test Tuesday and we have the perfect cake to brighten up your day! Today’s cake is one of my favorite, the Blueberry Lemon Surprise; fresh Blueberries baked inside Lemon Cake and stacked three layers high with Lemon Cookies between them. To finish it off, we surround this cake with our own Basil Cream Cheese Frosting. I promise if you love summer, you will love this cake. See you for lunch!
Good morning! Let’s get this week started shall we. We have two very delicious lunch specials for you this week. Our first special is a Blueberry Peach Salad; Bourbon Peppercorn Turkey placed on top of a bed of fresh spring mix and accompanied with fresh sweet Peaches, Blueberries, Vidalia Onions, and your choice of Boursin Cheese or if you like a little spice Pepperjack Cheese and finished with a delicious Melon Yogurt dressing.
Our second special is a Sweet and Spicy Ham Sammy; Black Forest Ham topped with a blend of Sweet Cherry Peppers and hot Banana Peppers, Lettuce, and Havarti Cheese, and placed on toasted Sourdough bread with a homemade Sweet Peach Mustard.
Tomorrow is Taste Test Tuesday, and with all of the fruits available now I can’t decide what to make. But I promise that you will want to try it. Also, we are preparing for our trip to Washington, D.C. for the Summer Fancy Food Show this weekend. We hope to bring back some new ideas as well as a few new customers. Today we are sampling our Chocolate Candy Bar Cake; smooth chocolaty cake layers surrounded with a whipped cream cheese frosting that has toasted pecans and pieces of chocolate candy bars. Good Monday morning to ya! We hope you had a very nice weekend. We’re off and running, but I quickly want to tell you about our lunch specials this week. Our first special and a NEW addition to our lunch menu is the Rabbit’s Rave Veggie Sandwich; lettuce, tomatoes, avocado slices, alfalfa sprouts, roasted red peppers, and your choice of cheese on wheatberry bread with just a touch of light mayo. If it’s as hot as they say it’s going to be this summer, then this is the sandwich to cool you off. Our second special is a Chicken Salad Panini; our very own Chicken Salad placed on Country White Bread with fresh Tomatoes, Sharp Cheddar Cheese, fresh Apple Slices, and our homemade Honey Mustard Dressing to give it an extra little kick! We have another addition to our Sandwich menu. By popular demand we have added our California Turkey Melt. In case you’re wondering, this sandwich has our Bourbon Peppercorn Turkey, fresh tomatoes, alfalfa sprouts, and avocado, and American Cheese all placed on a Croissant with a homemade Bacon-Onion Spread, and then grilled to tasty perfection. This Sweet and delicious treat consists of two Orange Cake layers surrounded with our own Champagne Buttercream Frosting. Enjoy our Mimosa Cake at any time of any day instead of just Sunday mornings! Good morning! We hope you had a great weekend, and we want to say thank you again to all of our service men and women for all that they do. We’ve hit the ground running this week so I quickly want to tell you about the lunch specials we are offering this week. Our first special was such a success last week that we are offering it again. So for an encore presentation we have our Chicken and Waffle Melt; grilled chicken dipped in homemade gravy and topped with bacon, tomatoes, pimiento cheese, and spinach, and placed on a Belgium waffle. All of this goodness is placed on the grill until it reaches melty hot perfection. Our second special is an Italian Hero; sliced Turkey, Ham, and Pastrami placed on a Toasted Whole Wheat Hoagie, topped with Provolone Cheese, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Roasted Red Peppers, Pickles, and Olives, and finished with our own Bistro Sauce and Oil and Vinegar.
